Dr. Oetker is launching a unique new range of vegetable dough based pizzas, Yes It’s Pizza.
Available in beetroot and spinach base flavours, with further tasty toppings, the varieties feature high vegetable content catering for both those looking to up their vegetable intake and foodies seeking a new pizza experience, the firm said in a statement.
“We are thrilled to be launching this new and exciting range of pizzas that follows the trend of added vegetables which is becoming increasingly popular. The range brings great tasting pizzas that offer permissibility, vibrancy, freshness, excitement and full on flavour,” said Jo Skinner, Senior Brand Manager at Dr. Oetker.
The Yes It’s Pizza brand is inspired by the sustained demand for high vegetable content recipes and meals in recent years as a result of the changing consumer attitudes towards both vegetables and health, along with the trend for plant-rich diets, the statement noted.
The launch will be supported by an above and below the line integrated marketing campaign, with a focus on social media and digital marketing, as well as a full PR campaign beginning in June 2018.
The new range encourages consumers to ‘Dough It Different’ when it comes to pizza. Each pizza base is created by blending spinach or beetroot into the dough, resulting in a unique, brightly coloured base, giving consumers a brand new pizza experience from the frozen aisle.
The Beetroot Base is topped with delicious ingredients: zucchini, smoked ham, cheese and red onion, all served on a base that includes 35% pure beetroot in the dough. The Spinach Base is topped with creamy mozzarella, and complemented by broccoli and mushrooms, served on a base, that includes 35% pure spinach in the dough. The range has an MRRP of £3.69.
