Campaign helps JJ to double burger sales


JJ Foodservice has seen the sales of its Gourmet and Texan Burger range more than doubling, thanks to a new campaign.

Sales of gourmet burgers in the second quarter increased by 115 percent in terms of value and by 91 percent in volume, when compared to the previous quarter, following the multi-channel ‘Think Inside the Bun’ campaign launched in January.

A post-campaign survey by the wholesaler revealed that over one-third of the customers (36%) were not aware of the range before the campaign.

JJ said it will be giving retail customers the chance to win a free case of gourmet burgers via its Facebook page during National Burger Week (22-29 August 2019).
