Lower sugar, low calorie energy drink brand, Carabao, has expanded its offering by launching its first ever 500ml PET bottle – the largest product in its range.
This new pack format is available for Carabao’s distinctive Original flavour and as well as the contoured bottle shape, Carabao has also switched the colour of its Original packaging from green to blue to better reflect category norms for Original flavoured energy drinks.
Carabao’s Original 500ml bottle will be available to purchase from Monday 25th April in Poundland stores before rolling out more widely.
“At Carabao we continually monitor the needs of both our consumers and the category,” said John Luck, Chief Marketing Officer at Carabao UK&I. “Our latest research revealed that 87% of frequent energy drinkers would buy a 500ml re-sealable bottled version of their favourite energy drink.
“As on-the-go purchases continue to rise, the launch of our 500ml Original bottle is a key development in our mission to offer our customers great-tasting energy drinks that they can enjoy on any occasion – in this case, a longer and resealable alternative to our cans.”
