Bestway Wholesale has launched a refreshed ordering app and website, allowing cash and carry customers to start heir order on a phone, tablet or computer and finish it on another device, anywhere, at any time.

The new app will help to create personalised lists and save favourite products for quicker re-ordering. It will also give live delivery updates when using the website and notify on the availability of the products when the order is picked, and provide recommended substitutions.

Salih Sheikh, head of marketing at Bestway Wholesale, said: “We’re excited to unveil the new app and refreshed website, which is the culmination of 12 months research and development. We listened to customers, understanding what they do (and don’t) want when it comes to online ordering.

“We wanted to offer an online experience that wasn’t just in line with wholesale, but that rivaled market leading apps such as Amazon and Ocado – it’s a part of our strategy to utilise digital to improve the shopping experience and service to customers.

As well as easy access to the latest products and seasonal offers, additional features include the latest barcode-scanning technology for ease of search and the ability for customers to manage payments and calculate margins with a handy POR calculator all in one place.

The new app will also allow Bestway to place relevant supplier messages within the app to alert customers to special deals and new products.

Bestway Wholesale was the first food wholesaler to launch an ordering app in 2014. Apple and android versions of the new app is available to Bestway’s customers and the refreshed site is live at
