Industry charity GroceryAid has announced the line-up for this year’s Barcode Festival, to be held at Hawker House on 4 July.
Kicking off the party will be Grammy and double Brit Award winners Basement Jaxx. Hot on their heels and taking the top spot will be the incredible Jessie J with her eclectic mix of R&B, soul and dance. Completing a line-up to rival any other will be radio favourite, Nick Grimshaw who will take festival goers into the night with one of his legendary DJ sets.
GroceryAid said they are receiving incredible support from the industry with major brands, wholesalers and retailers lining up to sponsor the event. With very many of last year’s 40 companies set to return, Mars Wrigley Confectionery will be topping that bill once again, by sponsoring the Main Stage.
Steve Barnes, chief executive of GroceryAid, commented: “Last year numerous companies used Barcode tickets as a team incentive or reward. I’m convinced this year’s amazing line-up will encourage even more grocery colleagues to ensure they get to join the party.”
Funds raised through the event will go to GroceryAid and support grocery colleagues dealing with tough times. The ticket is priced at £300, including food and drink.
