Retailers receive free advice on store development, help with practical and stylish refits, EPOS and three-weekly consumer marketing programmes tailored to their stores.
Each Key Lekkerland wholesaler arranges for the new fascia and in-store signage to be put in place. The cost of this work is written off over the period of the agreement.
There are 350 stores in the group, with the average store size around 1100 square feet. Since KeyStore was revamped last year, the number of retailers in the group has grown. Retailers pay a £10 per week members’ fee and receive a one per cent bonus on all goods bought directly from their wholesaler, apart from alcohol, tobacco and phone card purchases.
Tailor made packages are available to support all aspects of store development. The minimum length of contract with KeyStore is five years and the minimum drop requirement is 35 outers on tobacco.
